PUBLIC NOTICE OF GOVERNING BOARD VACANCY

A vacancy in the membership of the Governing Board of the Campbell Union School District has occurred by reason of the resignation of Board Member Janet W. Johnson, effective March 14, 2008.
The Campbell Union School District is accepting applications to fill the vacancy by provisional appointment. Applications are available at all District schools and at the District Office, 155 N. Third Street, Campbell, CA.

The Governing Board will conduct interviews and select the provisional appointee prior to April 8, 2008.
The new Board Member will serve as a member of the Governing Board until November 2008, whereupon an election will be held to fill the seat for the next four-year term (term expires the first Friday in December 2008).

The deadline for submitting applications is 3:00 P.M. on Friday, March 14, 2008.
